Or reasons why you work with me as your wedding photographer in London, Derby or anywhere across the UK!

I live in Derby with my lovely husband in a little Edwardian terrace. I’ve been shooting Derbyshire wedding photography throughout the UK since the beginning of 2015. After doing a degree in Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales, I got a job as a photojournalist. I’ve been published in almost every national title, internationally and been lucky enough to win lots of lovely awards. At home I love a good fresh cup of coffee, Netflix marathons and going on adventures with my tiny human (when I’m not editing! I only take on a limited number of weddings per year, and genuinely care about each of my couples, so I know I can capture their story in a way they will fall in love with. I cannot wait to meet you both and hear all about your plans for your own big day!

I'm not a bossy photographer who will orchestrate each part of your day, life is what happens when you're making other plans and I don't want to miss those spontaneous moments of joy that make your wedding special. Everything from the big 'i do' moments to the small details that you may have spent hours choosing!

I pride myself on coming up with new ways to tell your story and make it natural and fun for you both. I don't use set poses or checklists, this is your day and everything I create will be with you both in mind.

You might be my kind of bride if you don't care too much about your dress getting a little dirty and letting the wind mess up your hair a bit, because those are the signs of a good time. You'd rather have a carefree day with your best friend as opposed to spending the day worrying about making it perfect. If this sounds even a little like you, get in touch and let me make the most beautiful and lasting record of your best day ever!

When can we expect you?

I usually arrive with plenty of time before the wedding, to have a look around, shoot any details and meet you and your family.  I’m based in Derbyshire and tend to concentrate most of my work to the Midlands, but I do travel throughout the UK to cover weddings which is easy from my central location! Venues in Scotland require a two night stay which would be an extra £100.

How does the payment process work?

When you book me, upon signing the contract, you are required to pay the booking deposit, this secures your date. The rest of the payment can be done any time before the wedding, up to 30 days before the wedding. Accepted are BACS, cheque and Paypal.

What equipment do you use?

I use Nikon pro-level gear, I always have multiple camera bodies, a number of lenses, and more memory cards than I need at all weddings. I also carry flashes and a few tried and trusted little pieces of kit for creative portraits.

Are you insured?

Yes! I do this full time and am covered by public liability and public indemnity insurance for your peace of mind.

When do we get our photographs?

It takes us up to 6 weeks to get your photographs ready and edited. The last thing I would want to do is rush over your wedding,  just to get it done earlier, so delivery dates change depending on low / high season. If for whatever reason, you need your photographs sooner, do let me know and I will see if it is possible.

How do we get our photographs?

Every one of my couples get their very own private online gallery, password protected and social media friendly. Your edited final pictures will already be sized and ready to be downloaded, shared or even better, printed! I have a print shop integrated into all my galleries so printing your photographs is super easy.

I hear you’ve won some awards?

I’ve been super lucky in my career to win a few, in all different fields of photography. Although it’s my lovely couples that drive and motivate me, I’m pretty proud to say I worked darn hard for them! Hopefully the list will continue to grow.
