Peak District Couples Session // Annette & Matt
She loves French Bulldogs, he loves golf and guitars, and they are such a sweet couple! Annette and Matt were totally up for an adventure for their couples photography session, which is amazing as I was given free reign and we ended up trekking along the highest peaks and down through some dark dark forests. We started bright and early one Sunday morning with the sun beating down on Curbar Edge in the wild and wonderful Peak District. I’ve been wanting to shoot more here because the landscape is so spectacular and it’s practically on the doorstep. After a short walk from the car park we were greeted by glorious views over the valley and a deep blue sky. I normally love doing sessions at dawn or dusk but this was a great opportunity to switch it up a bit and we all had great fun!
After a well deserved coffee and sausage roll break it was onto the next destination, and they had asked for a forest. Not many of those where we were so we headed south to a beautiful little densely wooded area near Matlock. After a small walk we found some fab parts in the trees where the sun was peeping through, and the ground was so coated in springy moss it seemed undisturbed since the times of dinosaurs! I hope you enjoy looking through this set and if you’d like to book your own couple’s adventure, just get in touch at email@example.com.
